Though he lived until , these recordings from are apparently his last. Dick Shurman's extensive CD notes say the backing musicians are unknown, but another account says it was a Red Saunders band, flamboyantly arranged by Sun Ra. Adams half-shouts his vocal with plenty of verve in these two similar jump-blues.5/5(1).
